(Communicate your way to a healthier sex life)
Some view discussing sex like a pornographic picture you hide under the bed from your parents and for others to see. It is with this reason that people find talking about sex difficult and that is why people who actually have problems in their sex life suffer in silence and hide in the shadow of a question… what is wrong with me?
Common Problems in Bed:
- Erection Difficulties
- Sex in Pregnancy
- Premature Ejaculations
- Painful Intercourse
- Difficulty achieving orgasm
- Relationship difficulties that include sex
Just like in any therapy or stages of problems in life, there’s always the first step and that is “acceptance”. If one has accepted the fact that he/she has a sexual dysfunction and is seeking help then that would be a time that one will encourage oneself to find a solution.
Communication. This is very crucial. Hiding in the dark will only make it harder. Talk about it with your lover. Give ideas to on how you’ll be able to please each other in bed and the ones that are so not too hot or things that literally turn you off. But of course take caution with such sensitive topics, it is always best to encourage each other. Just like in any problem that needs to be talked about, it can be sought through with good communication.
Remember, sex is a intimate act of love, desire, creativity, of mixed emotion. If it is intimate in itself and is something you share with someone, than communicating about it is one way of deeper intimacy between lovers and also a space for growth within the relationship itself.
