sensual need

Anorgasmia is more of a Psychological disorder and is very common with women. The symptoms of this sexual dysfunction would be deficiency of stimulation, unintentional inhibition of the orgasmic reflex. The cause could be sexual inexperience, especially to those women who have never had an orgasmic reaction during a sexual intercourse.

A disorder like this is easier compared to other dysfunction for the main reason that it is Psychological. Given the proper focus, self therapeutic method, this could be cured. There are 2 basic treatments for Anorgasmia.

  • First is to increase or maximize stimulation, this can be achieved by masturbation and it may require masturbation that would last for around an hour or so. Use of vibrators can also help in increasing stimulation. Tension in sexual intercourse may also require a certain muscular tension or pelvic muscle relaxation upon feeling high sexual arousal.
  • Second would be minimizing inhabitation such as avoiding distractions. Usually the one who has this dysfunction easily gets distracted even during climax; the usual distraction would be the patient’s thinking of an outsider’s perspective or a third party’s seeing the intercourse. Hearing sounds that unexpectedly comes distracts the one who has Anorgasmia. It could also include the habit of fantasizing or wandering off during sex that causes lack of focus in order to achieve maximum climax. Having too many thoughts in mind can also cause the inhabitation.

If these are not effective it would be an option to see a therapist for proper channeling to lessen such distraction or inhabitation and to focus more on stimulation.
