Attracting a woman seems to be a difficult enterprise for many but easy for some. What is in a woman that makes her hard to please at times? The conventional technique employed when you want to get a woman’s attention is to be a gentleman and act formally. But is it still applicable now? Giving women gifts therefore in order to win them is a very expensive method and generally not very much recommended, unless you are really that rich to give away high priced stuff. Improving your looks is an approach that requires effort, money, and at times blindness to truth. Beauty is an aspect that is subjective. Absolutely no one has the right to say that another person looks ugly. But what is usually accepted as example of beauty is that which is imposed on us through movies and television. Thus aside from the possibility of spending much, trying to improve your looks does not guarantee that you can attract a woman.

A psychologist from Prague treats persons with sexual problems by using questions that dig deep into their subconscious. Such a technique is a far cry of the traditional behavioral therapy and pills employed by some doctors.

At a conference attended by European sex therapists about two years ago, Katerina Filasova discussed her treatment scheme. She explained that her aim is to awaken the mind of the patients and rid them of the hidden beliefs and principles which can bring about an adverse effect on their sexual capacity.

The hidden beliefs or principles that Filasova is referring to are the concepts on sex which our parents, close friends, and authorities have taught us, or the ideas we got from our experiences.

”A patient’s picture of the world does not always correspond with reality,” Filasova said. “His point of view can be twisted by various belief systems and conceptions about the world, relationships, etc., that he has adopted.”

One of Filasova’s patients was a man in his early 40s who thought that all women do not enjoy sex unless it is done beyond half an hour. Another patient was a middle-age woman who confessed that even if she did not like sex, she forced herself to like it for the sake of her man.

Filasova’s approach features questions for the patient on the definitions of words that he or she erroneously conceives.

The Czech Psychologist believes that combining such an unconventional approach with the existing traditional techniques can help patients reconcile and correct the variety of sexual principles in their minds, thus giving them the power to change.

Filasova works with medical doctors at a Prague clinic.
